Wire EDM

The Wire EDM process enables us to cut extremely accurate profiles in hardened tool steel, tungsten carbide, aluminium, inconel, titanium and other exoctic alloys on our AMS tech AW3SL CNC Linear Drive wire erosion machine – as long as the metal is conductive it can be cut with Wire EDM.
Parts can be eroded from less than 1mm up to 260mm in thickness and up to 400kg in weight with maximum dimensions of 750mm x 550mm.
The machine can use 0.10mm, 0.15mm, 0.20mm, 0.25mm & 0.30mm diameter wires, the 0.25mm wire is the general diameter we use.

Drill EDM

The Drill EDM process enables us to produce holes using electodes from 0.20mm to 6.00mm diameter in materials such as hardened tool steel, tungsten carbide, aluminium, inconel, titanium and other exoctic alloys with exceptional accuracy on our AMS tech AD4L Linear Drive CNC Fast Hole EDM machine – in fact as long as the metal is conductive it can be eroded with drill EDM.
The generous tank capacity (800 x 550 x 330mm) allows for large components even if the erosion area is substanially smaller and the machine has a table travel of X:400 x Y:300mm x Z:500mm (backslide) x W:330mm (electrode travel) and can accept parts up to 900kg in weight.

Die Sinking EDM

The Sink EDM process enables us to produce cavities in materials such as hardened tool steel, tungsten carbide, aluminium, inconel, titanium and other exoctic alloys with exceptional accuracy on our Chmer CM545+75PZ ZNC Sink EDM machine – in fact as long as the metal is conductive it can be eroded with Sink EDM.
The generous tank capacity (1250 x 700 x 500mm) allows for large components even if the erosion area is substanially smaller, i.e. removing broken studs from cylinder blocks. The machine has a table travel of 700 x 500mm and can accept parts up to 1,500kg in weight.

Micro EDM

The Micro EDM process enables us to produce holes using electrodes from 0.10mm to 0.40mm diameter and cavities (no greater than 10 x 10mm) in materials such as hardened tool steel, tungsten carbide, aluminium, inconel, titanium and other exoctic alloys with exceptional accuracy on our Sarix T1-T4 Micro Erosion CNC EDM machine – in fact as long as the metal is conductive it can be eroded with micro EDM.
The work table size is 530 x 270mm with axis travels X:250 x Y:150mm x Z:150mm and can accept parts up to 20kg in weight.
We have been operating EDM machines since the mid 1980's and have years of experience in their use, as well as selling machines and training people in their use.
