Ion Exchange Resins

Ion Exchange is the reversible exchange of ions between a liquid and a solid. Ion exchange is a process used to control the purity and pH level of water and more specifically the conductivity level when used in the EDM process by removing undesirable ions and replacing them with acceptable ones. The process is generally used to exchange the undesirable ions from the liquid with the acceptable ions from the solid.

We sell Virgin Grade Ion Exchange Resin in a 25lt plastic sack and re-sealable plastic bucket to preserve the hygroscopic state once the plastic sack is opened.
As well as EDM applications EDM Plus Ion Exchange Resin is also suitable for use in the Glass manufacturing industry for commercial window cleaning purposes.
